About us

We, Robin Fitzpatrick, who has been in the hospitality trade for over 30 years, and Sabine Loeber, a former teacher from Germany, took over the free house in April 2015.

Families with children are very welcome in our pub (children under 12 until 8 pm - children over 12 until 10 pm). We provide board games as well as a small selection of sweets and low-sugar drinks for them.

We are also dog-friendly and provide water and biscuits for our four-legged guests. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead.

When the weather allows, our beer garden is open until dusk. As it is only accessible via a public footpath we kindly ask you to let us know if you'd like to drink in the beer garden, so that we can serve your beverage in a plastic glass.
